YES! The banana bender pub has lockers available for hire. Guests will have access to the lockers, which are located just outside the bathrooms. There are large and small lockers. They can be accessed by card payment.

Yes! If you are a companion card holder, purchase a single ticket to the event. Then email us at hello@sunshinecoastqueerball.com to obtain your companion ticket.

The recommended dress is Queer Formal (see our ‘About’ page for more information). However, attendees are encouraged to wear whatever they feel comfortable in. We have provided the Queer Formal theme to give people inspiration, it is not a requirement in order to attend the ball.

Allies of the LGBTQIA+ community are always welcome.

Yes, this is an 18+ event.

You can purchase tickets by clicking on the “Buy Tickets” menu link at the top of the page.

There is plenty of parking available due to the large Aussie World carpark. We do recommend carpooling if you can to help you feel more comfortable arriving. When you arrive you will head either up the stairs or ramp to the left side of the Banana Bender Pub.

You will find the entrance to The Shed here. There will be volunteers scanning your tickets and showing you into the event space.

In the space there will be a large bar, bar tables, some seating and a large dancefloor. There will also be a photobooth you can visit as many times as you like on the night to take photos.

There will also be volunteers from Free Mum Hugs should you want a Hug (or just a friendly chat!).

DJ Crockey will be playing music from 7pm, and during the night we will have various performers taking to the stage. DJ Crockey will play music in between these performances.

The toilets are located at the rear of the building (furthest from the stage).

Food is not provided, however there is a bar menu available.

The music is likely to be loud, LOOPS earplugs or noise minimising headphones can help with this if you are sensitive to sound.
